The product is okay for what it is and the delivery time was a little slow but I give this a 3 because it's price is about double what others are offering this item for.
Good day! You ordered on Saturday the 12th, the product shipped on Monday the 15th, and you received it on the 19th. So 1 week total from the time you ordered :)
As for the cost, we proudly manufacture these at our shop in Ontario Canada. For sure they can do it cheaper in China, but we take pride in creating North American jobs and supplying superior quality.
Fit great, couldn’t find package for just the liners otherwise be 5 stars
Thanks, Scott! We used to offer "just the liners", but too many customers came back looking to purchase "just the tool", but weren't happy about having to pay shipping for the tool. We thought it was best include the tool with every set :)
The original bushings were a pain to get out but these new liners make it a breeze to get the my doors on and off!
Nice! Thanks for the great review, Joel. We're so glad to hear the liners made removing and reinstalling your doors a breeze. Enjoy the easy on/off with your new setup!
Work great
Nice! Thanks for the great review, Roger. We're so glad to hear our door bushings worked great for you.
When I got the package it looked great. Shipping was a little lackluster for just being across the same country (B.C.).
The product itself looks very good, the machining on both tool and delrin bushings look great.
For some reason my original hinges on my jeep had no prior bushings at all. The inside diameter was dead nuts on with the door pins, which caused abnormal wear just from time on a 30 year old jeep.
So using dial calipers, measured the pins, the bushings, and the door hinges on the body and found if I drilled the hinges out just a bit, I could use the delrin bushings. So that's what I did and it all went together ok and all is good. Doors open and close nicely after making some hinge and striker adjustments.
Would I say this was Wham, Bam, thank you ma'am? No. This was not just an in and out install for my YJ. But it also was not rocket science either. I know now that the pins have a wearable bushing I'm them now to preserve the door pins and all should be good. Thanks TMR!
Nice work! We really appreciate the detailed review. It's very helpful to potential customers.
