Another great product from TMR

Great ram Mount if you're looking for something simple and very strong. I'm running a 10" DE ram that is just slightly longer than the mount, so that's something to look out for. All in all I great product and great price!

78/79 Dana 60 Snow Fighter Warning

TMR clearly warned with "Universal" in the title however caution to the few 78/79 Dana 60 Snow Fighter owners left out there if you like symmetrical tie rods this mount isn't for you. Due to how long the driver's side axle tube is, when the hydro ram is centered on the axle BOTH driver's side clamps (PSC ram) live in front of the diff cover or said differently will be cantilevered in space off the mount. Study the TMR buggy and you'll notice the driver's side ram is cantilevered off the mount which with a short driver's side axle tube is okay since 1 clamp is left on the mounting plate but with a long driver's side axle tube no clamps are left on the plate. Finally the mount offers no protection to the left and right of the mounting plate leaving the cylinder rod exposed to rock strikes. Hopefully this warning helps so you don't have to learn these lessons first hand as well!

Good day Doug, thanks for the feedback. Our mounts have been used for years in racing applications, the chances you hit your cylinder shaft are very very low. We're not fans of the full length mounts that "protect" the cylinder, they're too thin and fold up easier than a cheap soup can. They definitely aren't built for severe duty usage!
