TMR's tapered tie rod end reamer works on tons of automotive tie rod ends and drag link ends! 1.5" per foot taper (7.15 degrees) is an extremely common size and fits most domestic applications.

It's the perfect tool for enlarging existing tapers, enlarging a pitman arm taper, cleaning up damaged tapers, etc.

  • Made in USA from M2 high speed steel
  • 1-1/2" per foot taper, AKA 7.15 degree (Chevy tie rod end taper)
  • Flute length 4.5"
  • Minor diameter 7/16", major diameter 1"
  • 1/2" shank

    Should have option

    When you buy the High Steer Arm, they should offer the option of tapered or not. Instead of having to buy tool for $200.00 that you will only use once.

    Good

    Tool worked but was used in a hand drill so hand to cut the end off and grind in 3 flat spots

    expensive but good

    I gave this 5 stars on everything but the price. Reamed out my knuckles and pitman to fit GM one ton tie rod ends. Worked great.

    Awesome

    Worked like a champ to ream my highsteer arms for TRE's. Make sure to use cutting oil to keep it sharp and clean out the metal chips lots for a good finish.
