I purchased the Machete a few weeks ago. Before I was using my vise and trying to form bends little at a time. The Machete makes smooth and repeatable bend effortlessly. My only problem with this tool is that I didn’t buy it a long time ago.

I’m honestly not sure how I have gotten this far without this tool. I have already found so many uses for the XL. I also have the regular machete and the added ability of the XL is really nice. Being able to use the flat and round dies makes it super easy to adjust the bend radius for the project at hand.

I purchased the Machette XL and the Portable Bandsaw Table at the same time. Both products are extremely well-made with impressive manufacturing accuracy. You can tell a lot of care went into their design and build.
One suggestion: some basic assembly instructions would be very helpful. Since both items arrived in the same box, it took me a little time to figure out which parts went with which product. I eventually sorted it out through trial and error, along with some online photos—but a quick reference guide or parts list would make the process even smoother.
Also worth noting: my portable bandsaw isn’t the exact model the table was designed for, but with a few simple mods, I had it mounted and working perfectly.
Overall, I’m very happy with both products and would absolutely recommend them!

- CNC machined in house.
- Powder coated and black oxide coated for outstanding looks and corrosion resistance.
- Bends 3/16", 1/4", 3/8" round bar, and 1/2" Tubing (with optional tube dies).
- Bends up to 1/4" x 2" flat bar (with optional flat dies).
- Designed to be mounted in a bench vise.
