We start with thicker plates than our competitors and leave more material where it matters - directly under the ring gear. The extra material we leave eliminates the fear of warping the Cap Plate when welding, and it gives you the confidence to relentlessly beat on your diff without fear of breakage!

This saved my broken axle housing!
After finding a huge crack in my axle housing during my KoH race prep; the only option was to save the axle by cutting out the bottom and welding in this 14 bolt shave kit. I opted to use the kit where you don't need to turn the ring gear down. I also added in the AR 400 plate kit.
The final product was great, and was easy to do. This was a first time for me doing a shave kit. What I do like is how the lower plate keys into the differential cover. It meets together with a offset type of connection that helps keep the differential cover from coming loose on rocks. I have always had a issue with covers coming loose and leaking oil; this one stayed tight for the 2025 King of the Hammers EMC Race.
Thank you TMR Customs for another great race proven product that I'm proud to have on my race car.

Beefy
This is a seriously beefy kit, my only complaint is the lower bolt holes have very little protection and get beat up pretty quickly. I have had to take a grinder to the cover to open up the holes to pull the cover.
