TMR Customs manufactures the only kits on the market where the choice to machine the ring gear is yours! Looking for maximum clearance? Choose the off-road 4x4 part that requires ring gear machining. Prefer to run the stock-sized gear and not deal with the hassles of having the ring gear machined? Choose the shave kit that requires no ring gear machining.

We start with thicker plates than our competitors and leave more material where it matters - directly under the ring gear. The extra material we leave eliminates the fear of warping the Cap Plate when welding, and it gives you the confidence to relentlessly beat on your diff without fear of breakage!

Ring gear machining is optional, depending on which kit you choose! Our TMR Customs 15 Bolt Conversion takes your 14 Bolt to near Dana 44 clearance! Be sure to check out our other axle and drivetrain parts.

This is a seriously beefy kit, my only complaint is the lower bolt holes have very little protection and get beat up pretty quickly. I have had to take a grinder to the cover to open up the holes to pull the cover.
